As we charge into the new year, SideDrawer is thrilled to unveil a suite of enhancements that streamline your operations and empower your document management. Enhanced Info Request Experience

SideDrawer has reimagined the way you handle Info Requests. With the ability to suggest record names during creation, you can now customize requests to better reflect your unique workflows. Plus, the updated functionality allows you to send an Info Request to any drawer—even when certain UI elements are hidden—ensuring you always have the flexibility you need.

Dynamic Interface Customization & Filing Cabinets

Recognizing that every organization is unique, we’ve introduced powerful UX customization options. Administrators can now toggle key features like the Create Record button, editing options, and file viewer tools to create an interface that works best for your team.

Additionally, Console users now have access to Filing Cabinets (Vaults)—a new way to organize documents more efficiently and access them with ease.

Enterprise Smart Forms: Smoother, Smarter, Faster

Our Smart Forms have received a major upgrade, designed to minimize errors and improve the overall experience. Enhanced form validations ensure mandatory fields are completed correctly, while multipage forms and new progress indicators—like the progress bar during PDF creation—keep you informed every step of the way. These improvements not only reduce friction but also help you move through tasks more confidently and efficiently. There is also new conditional logic included in this new feature that allows for approvers to review completed forms and take new workflow actions like escalation, rejections, delegations, or approvals 

Please note that this feature is currently only available to Enterprise clients.


API, Backend, and Performance Enhancements

Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work refining the backbone of SideDrawer. Our API enhancements now support more intuitive interactions, such as automatically adding names to plan-items and simplifying endpoints for a cleaner, faster experience. Plus, with the recent migration to Angular v19 and the update to the latest Apryse WebViewer, you can expect a robust, high-performance platform that scales with your needs.
